Until the final launch of the 5th generation of the iPhone we’ll hear different kind of rumors and leaked pictures. This is a simple process for such awaited handsets as the iPhone 5 is. Now the next gladsome news come from iPhone Italia that claims to an un-named Senior Executive for Swiss carrier Swisscom informed them they will launch the next generation iPhone on October 5.
Moreover, the same source is 100% sure the US launch of the iPhone 5 will be a month earlier, on September 5. The abovementioned person is certain about the release date because they have been contacted with Apple to agree how to distribute the phone.
This is not a surprising announcement, as earlier we have heard about the September 7 launch, and I don’t understand why people are suspicious to this rumor. In my own opinion the Executive didn’t say anything that contradicts to any other rumor we tend to believe to. Probably the main reason not to believe to all these rumors regards on the statement of Verizon’s new CEO, Lowell McAdams, who said they are waiting for the iPhone 5’s launch in fall, but a certain date is unknown. So, I won’t accuse all those people who do not believe to a September launch, but I will stick on the initial rumors—the beginning of September is a launch time (for me).
