A few days ago we wrote how you can mitigate the pain conditioned by the iPhone 4S’ battery. Now we are going to inform you the issues will be solved “officially”, I mean Apple is acknowledged about the problem and announced the update will come in a few weeks including the necessary bugs fixed.

That’s interesting this is not a problem of all iPhone 4S devices, but only a little number of them. Moreover, Apple said that’s not an iPhone 4S issue, but rather an iOS 5 issue. This is very pleasant, because it’s easier to fix software issues, than the hardware one.

Today an Apple spokesperson told TechCrunch over the phone:

“A small number of customers have reported lower than expected battery life on iOS 5 devices. We have found a few bugs that are affecting battery life and we will release a software update to address those in a few weeks.”

Though there is a small uncertainty with a phrase “in a few weeks”, today the company introduced the first iOS 5.0.1 builds to developers, which includes “Fixes bugs affecting battery life.“ So we only have to wait a little, while the developers will get sure there are no other bugs.
